Jennifer Portnoy, PhD., has been a physical therapist for over 24 years.

She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from SUNY Purchase, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Long Island University, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Temple University. She specializes in pelvic health physical therapy and treats the body in a holistically connected fashion.

A 500-hour registered yoga teacher, Jenn combines her knowledge of body movement from dance and yoga with her physical therapy expertise to create unique plans of care that allow safe and effective treatment.

Conditions Jenn treats include but are not limited to all issues related to male and female pelvic health, bowel and bladder incontinence, pelvic and tailbone pain, pelvic organ prolapse, pre- and postpartum and diastasis recti, low back, hip, and abdominal pain, vulvar pain, painful sex, scar tissue, and breast cancer rehabilitation including lymphedema.

Jenn moved from Bucks County, PA, to Santa Fe to open Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation and to surround herself with New Mexico’s beauty. She has 2 boys (now young men) and looks forward to her next rescue pup. When not working, Jenn is practicing or teaching yoga, jogging, hiking, dancing, or badly playing the ukulele.
